How It Works
Simple steps to access care from the comfort of your home
Select Your Practitioner and Schedule Visit the practitioner profiles on our website - each profile displays details of their qualifications, registration number with AHPRA, their areas of specialization, and their available appointment dates and times.
Online Booking You can book your appointment online at our secure website, Halaxy. No phone call is necessary, nor any form-filling process. You will receive your appointment booking confirmation email instantly along with the link for your consultation session.
Video Consultation Session Use your secure link to access your consultation session at the pre-scheduled time slot from any device of your choice such as your mobile phone, tablet, or laptop. The practitioner will then address your issues, conduct evaluation, and provide you with a customized treatment plan.
Follow Up & Ongoing Care After your session, you will receive a summary (if agreed) and any relevant resources or prescriptions. Medicare rebates are processed automatically where applicable. Book your next appointment directly through the same easy portal.

* Bulk-Billing for Regional/Remote Patients (request-based):
Patients located in regional or remote areas may qualify for a bulk-billed comprehensive psychiatric assessment (Conditions apply).
Please note: This bulk-billed assessment is available provided the item number has not been used by a psychiatrist within the past 12 months. To benefit from this, MBS Item Code 291 (or 92435) needs to be included on the referral. The patient location needs to be within Modified Monash Model MM2-MM7.
Workcover: All Workcover and DVA clients will have their bills sent to the relevant entity.
Note : A 1.7% card surcharge is applied to the appointment fee on the day of your booking. This fee is charged by our payment processor and is not received by Dokotela or your specialist. To validate your card when you book, a temporary $1 charge will be placed on your account. This charge is automatically refunded to you shortly after.
